SUBSTANCE: winding device and a brake mechanism are located inside the body of the leash. The body of the leash has anopening (13) to pull the cord or ribbon. The brake mechanism is controlled by a button (12). The leash contains a knob (11) to be held in one hand and a protective overlay (14) to protect the body against impact. The protective lining consists of a single hollow element, which is installed on the latches at the front of the case and aligned with the cord or ribbon outlet.
EFFECT: improved protection of the leash against impact.
