SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a roulette lead for animal walking. Roulette lead for winding and unwinding of the leash comprises a drive coil that is rotatable mounted on the base and is capable of returning to the rolled up position by means of returning to the initial position of the device. At that, the leash is wound on the lead coil. Roulette lead has interlocking means for locking the unwinding of the leash from the lead coil, having a friction brake interacting with the lead coil and made in the form of a band brake with a brake band. Locking means are two-stepped.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to limit the walking range of an animal being moved gently, without jerks, even with a runaway animal.
