FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: unit of passenger vehicle safety built into a back 1 of a seat, mounted by a seat 2 on the base 3, includes a cavity in the form of a truncated cone from backside of the back in front of a passenger sitting in the back. A flexible protective surface 5, coming out at the moment of an accident towards the passenger, made in the form of a spherical smooth "flapping" membrane 5, is fixed in the cavity. The cavity space is filled with liquid 8 with the initial pressure, smaller than the critical pressure, leading to the membrane "flap".
EFFECT: increased passenger safety in case of accident due to the construction of the safety unit.
