FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: ridge drill comprises ridge formers 4, sowing units 2, packer wheels 3, fixed on the frame 1. Shovels-openers 43 are installed in front of the ridge formers 4. The packer wheels 3 comprise a composite frame, spherical discs, bars with springs. The spherical discs are mounted with their convex side to the longitudinal symmetry axis of the wheel with the possibility to change the approach angle of the spherical discs symmetrically relative to the longitudinal symmetry axis of the wheel at the same angle, the opening of which is directed toward the ridge drill movement, and to fix it in a determined position. Between the spherical discs on the axis at regular intervals flat discs are mounted, the outer contour of which is made multifaceted and sharpened bilaterally. On the convex side of each spherical disc C-shaped rippers are rigidly mounted, in cross-section having the shape of an elongated rectangle and directed with their lesser side towards the longitudinal symmetry axis of the wheel. Each C-shaped ripper is directed with its concave side towards the spherical disc rotation, and shaped sharpened recesses in the form of a semicircular are made around the periphery of each spherical disc.

EFFECT: invention will allow to improve the quality of planting tilled crops.
