FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of moulding large complex ceramic products from aqueous slurries, type of quartz crucibles for the metallurgical industry. The mould set for forming complex ceramic workpieces contains water-absorbing matrix, located in a metal frame, core and a feeding node. In this case, the water absorbing matrix is made of porous polymer of thickness10-30 mm and 15-60% porosity. The frame has branch pipes for compressed air and water supply into the gap between the frame and the matrix. The feeding node contains the branch pipe for pressure supply.
EFFECT: increased productivity of mould sets for forming complex ceramic workpieces.
