FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: turbomachine contains a stator having a casing, a rotor, as well as a brush and labyrinth seals. The rotor includes an impeller located inside the casing, and a brush seal is located between the impeller and the casing. Upstream of the brush seal, the main cavity is located, bounded by the recessed casing surface and the surface of the impeller. In the main cavity, upstream of said brush seal, there is at least one septum extending from the housing to the impeller. The labyrinth seal is located downstream of the brush seal. Another invention of the group relates to a node of the above-mentioned turbomachine in which the partition has an upstream and downstream ends, first and second sides extending between said ends and a surface facing the impeller that intersects the casing surface at its upstream and downstream of end flow. When the seal is improved and the vortex is reduced in the turbomachine, a brush seal is placed between the impeller and the turbomachine housing. The labyrinth seal is located downstream of the brush seal. A cavity is formed between the impeller and the casing upstream of mentioned brush seal, the cavity being delimited by the recessed casing surface and the surface of the impeller. Place in the cavity at least one septum extending to the impeller.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of brush compaction by reducing vortex formation in front of it.
