FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: multiphase step of a submersible multiple centrifugal pump contains a guide device consisting of a shell in the form of a collar with a shoulder and a lower and upper disk with blades, and an impeller consisting of a leading and trailing disks with blades. A separation chamber is formed in the area between the outlet from the impeller and the inlet to the subsequent guide device. A dispersion chamber is formed at the inlet to the impeller, and a circulation chamber is formed between the outlet from the impeller and the outlet from the previous guide device. The gas from the center goes forward to the inlet of the guiding device of the next stage. Grinding of large gas bubbles occurs in the dispersion chamber, and the gas-liquid mixture becomes more uniform.
EFFECT: due to separation, part of the liquid is diverted to the circulation chamber and sent to the inlet of the impeller of the same stage, which allows to increase the amount of liquid in the gas-liquid mixture at the inlet to the impeller and, thus, the stable operation of the step is ensured, the lift and the efficiency are increased.
