FIELD: oil machine building; pump building.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to multistage submersible pumps, and can be used for pumping out of formation fluid with high content of free gas. Multistage multiphase pump contains head, base, housing, shaft, intermediate bearings, at least two stages. Stage comprises a guide apparatus consisting of a housing made in the form of a sleeve, blades, an impeller, which comprises a driving disc with blades, according to a first embodiment, according to the second version, the impeller is an auger with a drive disc of variable radius and blades of a helical shape. Step is diagonal. Average and outer diameter of blades at the impeller inlet is less than at the outlet. Average and outer diameter of blades at the inlet to the guide vanes is greater than at the outlet. For the greater part of the blade array, the dependence of the change in the radius of the point on the middle line of the flow part in the impeller (ΔR) on the change in the position of this radius on the axis (ΔL) is expressed by the formula: Δ (Rn)=KaΔL, where Ka is a coefficient, wherein 1<n<3 average meridional flow rate in each section of the flow part of the impeller differs by not more than 30 %, for the greater part of the vane array the coefficient where dd is the diameter of the gas bubble, ω is the angular velocity of rotation of the rotor, ν is the kinematic coefficient of viscosity, density of the liquid phase, the pumped multiphase mixture, gas, vm is the meridional velocity in the given section of the flow section, k is the coefficient taking into account the peculiarities of geometry and dispersion properties. Also described is a method for pumping a gas-liquid mixture using a pump of a multistage multiphase pump.
