FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: centraliser-dampener contains a body with centering ribs in the form of a segment of a circle and an annular retainer. Retaining device is formed by two dismountable parts with a circular groove in the form of a swallow tail. The housing is made in the form of a sleeve with longitudinal slots cut from its ends along the housing in staggered order. In this case, the housing is made of an elastic material and is located in the annular groove, with a guaranteed gap between it and the inner surface of the groove providing a possibility of radial movement of the housing during compression.

EFFECT: increased reliability of centering and retention of the centraliser-dampener from axial displacement.
