FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas industry, in particular, to devices for centering downhole equipment. Centralizer includes a housing with upper and lower connecting threads and a central channel, an elastic centering element and a mechanism for temporarily increasing its rigidity. Elastic centering element is made in the form of a split ring of T-section with a shelf inside, mounted in an annular groove with annular protrusions of the body of the same cross section with an emphasis of the shelves in the corresponding annular protrusions of the groove in the expanded state of the ring and with the possibility of radial movement during compression. Mechanism for increasing the stiffness of the centralizer is made of two levers connected to the outside by the axis of rotation, the opposite ends of which are mounted on the axes at the opposite ends of the groove made across the annular groove with the possibility of limited rotation. Axial ends of the levers are adapted to fit into the incision of the ring when it is fully expanded, and the levers are provided with protrusions for displacing the groove inside when the projections interact with the beginning of the constricted portion in the well.
EFFECT: simplified design and improved reliability.
