FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method of manufacturing spherical wax queen bowls is carried out by joining two wax plates with hemispherical caps. Wherein the bowls are obtained by using a template with a series of hemispherical projections on a rigid base made of a piece of steel corner with a series of openings with the same pitch on its shelves. On one template shelf there are projections in the form of metal hemispheres formed by steel balls inserted into the shelf openings and welded to it. The openings located on another shelf, the diameter of which is 0.8-1.5 mm more than the diameter of the balls, serve as a conductor for drilling through openings or recesses in the rotational plates of inoculation frames. The hemispherical caps in the wax plates are formed by pressing with the hemispherical template projections the heated wax plate put between two thin films of a highly elastic material represented by rubber or polyurethane into the rotational plate openings.
EFFECT: invention simplifies and accelerates the production of spherical queen bowls and, thereby, allows to increase the production of queen bees from eggs.
