FIELD: apiculture. SUBSTANCE: isolator with honeycomb is placed into a larvae-brooding parent colony. Then bottomless queen-cell cups are made from wax and disposed on strips of newly-built honeycomb with larvae. Before positioning the honeycomb in the parent colony, cells are cut off on one of its sides to the cell mediastinum at the opposite side of honeycomb. Perforated wax plates are placed under the honeycomb strips with larvae. Bottomless parent cups prepared in advance are fastened to cells with larvae by means of a special templet. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 dwg
