FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: thermal generator contains n interconnected thermal energy converters into electrical, each of which contains a housing made of a material with the possibility of shielding electromagnetic radiation, with an electrical winding inside. Above it, with a gap, there is a permanent magnet with a heat-insulating plate fixed over it and a plate with a high value of the coefficient of thermal expansion, which is fixed by the upper side in the body. The change in its linear dimensions under the action of the solar heat flux makes it possible to change the gap between the permanent magnet and the electrical winding. Each of the n combined thermal energy converters to electrical converters can contain plates with different high values of the coefficient of thermal expansion.
EFFECT: reduction of the specific mass of the heat generator, provision of electricity generation from solar thermal energy both with direct exposure to the solar flow, and in the shadow area.
