FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method for increasing the yield of grain crops consists in introducing sewage sludge purified from pathogens and helminths by means of long composting while growing grain crops by one of the following methods. The pre-sowing seed treatment by inoculating the seeds of grain crops pre-wetted with water by ground sewage sludge at the ratio of 4 kg/t. The second version is to treat the seeds of grain crops with a working solution containing 1 l/t of mother liquor of sewage sludge diluted in 10 litres of water per 1 ton of seeds. The third version is foliar top dressing of vegetating plants by spraying in the crop tillering phase and the earing phase with a working solution containing 4 l/ha of mother liquor of sewage sludge diluted in 300-400 l of water. Wherein the mother liquor of sewage sludge is obtained by dissolving dry sewage sludge in water at the ratio of 1:100 with infusing for 12 hours at periodic stirring and subsequent filtration.
EFFECT: improving the indices of plant growth and development, yield and grain quality.
