METHOD OF GROWING SPRING DURUM WHEAT IN ARID PART OF FOREST-STEPPE AND STEPPE ZONES Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A01G22/20 A01B79/02 

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method involves soil treatment after harvesting the predecessor using a flat-cutting method, early spring harrowing, the main soil mineral fertilization, pre-sowing treatment of seeds, sowing with application of mineral fertilizer, care of crops and harvesting. Pre-sowing treatment of seeds is carried out by dressing with a combined insect-fungicide Hat-Trick, “СК” at rate of 1.0 l/t. Main fertilizer used is a combined nitrogen-phosphorus-containing fertilizer with addition of zinc at ratio of 14:40:7:1 and applied in dose of 150 kg/ha. At the stage of plant tillering, a tank mixture based on herbicide Ballista, “МД” – 0.3 l/ha and insecticide Meadows, “МД” – 0.05 l/ha, is used. Crops are taken care of at the stem-extension stage by feeding Active AZOT with nitrogen content of 24.5% by spraying at dose of 1.5 l/ha. At the heading stage, repeated treatment is carried out with plant protection agents – a tank mixture in the composition of insecticide Meadows, “МД” – 0.05 l/ha and fungicide “Эйс, ККР” – 0.6 l/ha.

EFFECT: method provides increase in wheat yield due to reduction of weediness and damage of plants with diseases and pests with preservation of high sowing properties of seed material.
