FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminary concentration of trace elements from solutions by coprecipitation of their complexes with organic reagents with indifferent - non-interacting with the detectable elements and the reagents used - organic coprecipants, represented by polymers insoluble in water but soluble in water-miscible organic solvents. When an indifferent co-precipitant solution is added to the sample after the addition of the reagent, a polymer sol is formed, which includes the complex of the element. After the sol is filtered out through a polymer fiber filter, a concentrate emitter is obtained in the form of a compact, thin, mechanically strong film associated with a filter of an X-ray diffractive fiber material. Further, the X-ray fluorescence spectra of the concentrate are recorded and the desired elements are determined.
EFFECT: reducing the limit of detection of elements.
