FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: automated system for eye accommodation training includes a fixed patient site, a mode selection unit and a random number generator, and the first and second visual information display units located in the patient's field of view at distances L1 and L2 respectively from the patient's fixed site, where L2 is more than L1. The third visual information display unit located in the patient's field of view at distance L3 from the patient's fixed site, where L3 is more than L2, a computational and control unit, a database located at the fixed patient's site, a response input unit having outputs characterising the response code and an indication of response presence; as well as a physician-operator terminal containing controls and means for current status displaying, the computational and control unit contains a controller connected to the common bus with random access memory (RAM), a buffer register where the first and the second groups of information inputs are respectively the first and the second information inputs of the computational and control unit, and the first and the second interface units connected to the common bus, programmed read-only memory (PROM) of implemented algorithms programs and a readout unit with information inputs connected to the outputs of the buffer register the write enable input of which is connected to the first interrupt input of the controller and the first interrupt signal input of the computational and control unit where ths second and the third interrupt inputs are the second and third inputs of the controller interrupt, PROM control and address inputs are connected to the adjustment outputs of the second interface unit, the input-output of which is the input-output of computational and control unit configuration, where the first, the second and the third control inputs-outputs are respectively the first, the second and the third inputs and outputs of the first interface unit.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of accommodation training.
