METHOD FOR TRAINING ACCOMODATION Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A61B3/00

Abstract RU 2613084 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and is intended for increasing efficiency of training accommodation depending on current state of central vision during training session and setting visual stimulus adequate for accommodation system. Stimuli are shown on three displays, installed at a distance from patient, equal 0.5; 1 and 5 m. For each display formed is first individual sequence (IS) of stimuli with different sizes, angular size of which is fixed for specified distance on the line of aligning and display dimensions, with stimuli being placed inside IP according to angular size descending ϕ. Training is carried out in two stages: at the first stage vision acuity is determined, for which purpose on randomly chosen displays shown are stimuli from the first IS, in identification of which character of the response is taken into account: for each of stimuli the number of correct responses is registered and stimulus with minimal angular size ϕm, which patient identified correctly, is determined and correlated with current vision acuity. After that, at the second stage of training, taking into account the determined value ϕm, second IS is formed of at least three stimuli, angular size of which is in the range from 0.79ϕm to 1.26ϕm, and cyclic demonstration of said stimuli is performed.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase training efficiency.
