SUBSTANCE: vehicle storage compartment (1) includes a container (2), a separating element (10, 10'), a locking device of the separating element (10, 10') and an elastic element (14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19), configured to act on the separating element (10, 10'). The separating element (10, 10') is performed with ability of sliding movement along the sliding direction (X). The locking device contains the first locking element (61, 71), configured to interact with the second response locking element (111, 121). The separating element (10, 10') is made movable in the unlocking direction (Z), substantially perpendicular to the sliding direction (X), with the ability to move between the locking position and the sliding position.
EFFECT: possibility of providing the reliable and strong locking of the separating element in relation to the container in the sliding direction, and its comfortable, ergonomic and effortless taking out from the locking position and comfortable movement in the sliding direction.
