SUBSTANCE: unit contains a vessel with a starting suspension, a centrifugal pump, a water jet elevator and a water jet pump. The unit also comprises a device for separating suspensions into a solid and a liquid phase, which is a series of spiral turns composed of pipes and having an inlet and an outlet. The outlet branch is made in the form of a replaceable divider head with two branches and a tongue. One branch is connected to the suction unit of the centrifugal pump, and the second one - to the central passive nozzle of the water jet pump whose active nozzle is connected to the centrifugal pump injection unit. The unit is provided with a water inlet fitting tangentially connected to one of the spiral turns.

EFFECT: creation of a unit that provides high efficiency at low energy costs, reliable operation with a change in the concentration of the solid phase and high productivity, and does not contain wearing rotating parts in contact with the pumped solid phase.
