FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: acoustic unit contains a scanning unit with a base with support rollers, which is connected by rods to the housing in which the damper is placed, an ultrasonic echo-piezo transducer, a local bath for immersion liquid (water). On the outer bottom surface of the body, local bath is performed. At the top of each protrusion, blind holes are made associated with the ball supports of the rods connected to the base. The ultrasonic echo-pseudo transducer is connected to an ultrasonic flaw detector, which includes an excitation pulse generator, a synchronizer, a sweep generator, an electron beam tube, an amplifier, an automatic flaw detector. The piezoelectric element of the echo converter is connected to the cathode ray tube by means of: the first electric circuit through the excitation pulse generator - the synchroniser - the sweep generator and the second electric circuit through the amplifier - the automatic defect detector. The mentioned base is formed in the form of a leaf elastic element fixed by the front end to the axis of the front roller and the rear end to the axis of two spaced rear rollers of smaller diameter than the front roller. The front rod is in the form of a pendulum arm, its upper ball joint is attached to the bracket on the base, and the lower one is located in the front lip on the body. The rear stem is a telescopic spring post, the upper end of which is connected by a transverse axis with an elastic element, and the lower end - with a projection on the body. The axis of the spring post is perpendicular to the axis of the leaf elastic element in the initial position of the acoustic unit. The front rod is provided with a protrusion with the possibility of abutment in the sheet elastic element, and on the base there is installed a wire cover to the piezoelectric element and an echo converter power supply tube with an immersion fluid. The rear end of the leaf elastic element (base) protrudes cantilever beyond the axis of the rear rollers and is rigidly connected to one end of the handle.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of research tubes of different diameters.
