FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: device for locking refers to locking devices used to protect the doors of freight containers, railway cars, car bodies from unauthorized opening. The device for locking comprises a rod having a central longitudinal groove formed at its end portion, a housing with an axial opening forming a lip on the inner surface and a locking assembly including two fixing rotary elements used for contact with the lip of the housing, arranged in the longitudinal rod groove and connected to the rod and to each other. The fixing stop elements are made in the form of pins hingedly connected by both ends by means of an axle fixed in the longitudinal rod groove and having bevels at the second ends, the rod and the housing on their mating parts are threaded, the rod has an axial opening in which the spring-loaded pusher used for controlling the free ends of the pins and their fixation during locking is arranged, and a wire fixing element covering the stem by the thread and contacting with the stop elements.

EFFECT: increasing the rod strength, improving the ease of use, simplifying the manufacturing technology.
