FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: device for locking refers to locking devices used to protect the doors of freight containers, railway cars, car bodies from unauthorized opening. The locking device comprises a locking assembly, a housing with an axial threaded hole and a threaded rod with a blind hole, in which there is a spring-loaded pusher retained in the cocked position by a cotter extending across a rod and a pusher, and a blind hole coaxial with the blind rod hole and having the same diameter is made in the housing bottom. Their common axis is offset relative to the rod axis. For fixing the pusher in the worked state, an annular groove is provided on the pusher, and a hole is provided in the threaded rod, perpendicular to the blind hole. In this hole there is a spring-loaded pin interacting with the annular groove.

EFFECT: device is simplified, and its metal consumption is reduced.
