SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the process cartridge, the electrophotographic image forming device, in which the process cartridge can be detachably installed, and to the electrophotographic photosensitive drum unit. The claimed group of inventions includes an electrophotographic photosensitive drum unit, a process cartridge and an electrophotographic image forming device. Herewith the electrophotographic photosensitive drum unit (B) includes: an electrophotographic photosensitive drum (107) having a photosensitive layer (1076) on its peripheral surface. The electrophotographic photosensitive drum is rotated about its axis (L1), and the connecting element (150) rotated about its axis (L2) and engaged with the drive shaft (180) for taking a rotational force, from the part applying the rotational force, for rotating the electrophotographic photosensitive drum (107), wherein the connecting element (150) is provided at the axial end of the electrophotographic photosensitive drum (107), so that the connecting element is able to take the angular rotational force transmitting position, substantially coaxial with the said axis (L1) of the electrophotographic photosensitive drum (107), for transmitting the rotational force of the electrophotographic photosensitive drum (107) for its rotation, and the angular disengagement position, in which the connecting element (150) is deflected from the axis (L1) of the electrophotographic photosensitive drum (107), from the said angular rotational force transmitting position, for disengaging the connecting element (150) from the drive shaft (180). The electrophotographic photosensitive drum unit (B) is adapted, so that when the electrophotographic photosensitive drum unit (B) is removed from the main unit in the removing direction, substantially perpendicular to the axis (L1) of the electrophotographic photosensitive drum (107), the connecting element (150) moves from the said angular rotational force transmitting position to the said angular disengaging position.
EFFECT: creating a process cartridge capable to rotate smoothly a photosensitive drum by its installation in the main unit, which is not provided with a connecting element moving mechanism at the side of the main unit, in the direction of its axial line, for transmitting a rotational force to the photosensitive drum by the operation of opening and closing the main unit cover; and creating a photosensitive drum unit used in the process cartridge, and an electrophotographic image forming device, in which the process cartridge can be detachably installed, ie, such electrophotographic image forming device, in which the process cartridge can be installed and removed.
