SUBSTANCE: method of video quality control based on network environment includes the steps of: receiving a target frame sequence number of the lost video frame from terminal and using the time when a target frame sequence number was received as a timestamp of a target frame sequence number; determining the amount of target frames sequence numbers corresponding to timestamps for a predetermined period of time; lowering a designated quality parameter according to a predetermined configuration criterion, when the number of target frames sequence numbers is greater than the first threshold quantity; or increasing a designated quality parameter according to a predetermined configuration criterion, when the number of target frames sequence numbers is less than the second threshold quantity, wherein the first threshold quantity is greater than the second threshold quantity.

EFFECT: regulation of video quality parameter depending on existing network environment; terminal can play video smoothly.
