SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at reducing the amount of transmitted data, reducing the required bandwidth and reducing the transmission delay. It is achieved by performing pixel encoding according to pixel values of three-dimensional (3D) video data to obtain encoded pixel data; and sending the encoded pixel data to a mobile edge computing (MEC) server, wherein the encoded pixel data is used by the MEC server to recover the 3D video data, wherein the data amount of the 3D video data before performing pixel encoding on the 3D video data is the first data amount, the data amount of the 3D video data after performing pixel encoding on the 3D video data, is the second data amount, and the first data amount is larger than the second data amount.
EFFECT: reducing the amount of transmitted data, reducing the required bandwidth and reducing the transmission delay.
