FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method of measuring the liquid level by measuring an electrical parameter functionally related to the measured level, is that the upper plate of the condenser is placed on the floating roof and the lower one - at the bottom of the tank and are connected to three external resistances and two capacitors forming a phasing chain of the generator, the frequency of which is set in accordance with the measured electrical parameter. Herewith through the functional converter, the frequency-code result is fed to the level indicator.
EFFECT: simplifying the continuous measurement of the liquid level with the possibility of remote transmission of measurement information in frequency form over a two-wire communication line, which provides high reliability and noise immunity.
