FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: electric capacitive separator relates to measurement equipment and can be used in areas where it is necessary to determine the position of boundaries of sections of current-conducting liquid and non-conducting liquid or gas. Electric capacitive separator includes a cylindrical measuring vessel made of non-conductive material, a supply tube with a valve located in the lower part of the measuring vessel for supply of immiscible fluids, an electrode located coaxially outside the measuring vessel, at least one discharge port for withdrawing one of the fluids from the measuring vessel, device for measuring electric capacitance, one of the contacts of which is connected to the electrode, and the second one is electrically connected to the supply tube, besides, each outlet port is connected to the back pressure regulator and contains a valve.
EFFECT: improved operational and technical characteristics of electric capacitive separator due to easy adjustment and maintenance of its elements and structures, low measurement error, wider range of applicability conditions.
