FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: wastewater treatment from heavy metal ions is carried out by sorption on a solid insoluble natural sorbent. As a natural sorbent, agalmatolite rock with a pyrophyllite mineral content of at least 80 vol. % is used, with sorbent grain size from 3.0 to 5.0 mm.
EFFECT: increasing the filtration rate and reducing sorbent consumption.
