FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water treatment, particularly to sewage purification of copper ions by sorption. Proposed method comprises sewage treatment by sorbent, that is, a blast-furnace granulated slag. Purification is performed by filtration through 0.055-0.075 m-thick sorbent layer.
EFFECT: increased filtration rate, hence, reduced treatment time, and sorbent savings.
