SUBSTANCE: application start-up method in the router includes: the connection to the terminal set-up; determine if the terminal supports the private protocol; and if it is determined, that the terminal supports the private protocol, the application start-up based on the private protocol. The determination procedure, if the terminal supports the private protocol involves: the terminal host name reading from the DHCP configuration file (the host dynamic configuration protocol). The host name is extracted and added to the DHCP configuration file, when the router set-up the connection to the terminal; determine if the predefined names list contains the host type, that is consistent with the host name. The names list stores the terminal hosts types, that support the private protocol; and determination, that whether the terminal supports the private protocol, if the names list contains the host type, that is consistent with the host name.
