SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of wireless communication networks, namely, to providing access to WI-FI networks. To do this, WI-FI types supported by WI-FI intelligent device are obtained depending on the standard of the used intelligent WI-FI chip, classify WI-FI networks to be accessed by an intelligent WI-FI device to at least accessible and inaccessible group according to the WI-FI types supported by the WI-FI intelligent device and display the classified WI-FI networks in the WI-FI list. In this case, the classification of WI-FI networks includes the steps of scanning the surrounding WI-FI networks and obtaining the types of surrounding WI-FI networks, and associating the types of surrounding WI-FI networks with the WI-FI types supported by the WI-FI intelligence device stored locally, or with WI-FI types that are not supported by the WI-FI intelligence device stored locally.

EFFECT: technical result is to prevent an access failure of the device caused by assigning an inaccessible WI-FI network to the WI-FI intelligent device, which improving an access success rate of the WI-FI intelligent device by providing a list of available WI-FI networks according to WI-FI types supported by the intelligence device.
