SUBSTANCE: device includes the input and output centering units, consisting of the guiding jaws, located on the support plates and the guides of the support plates, mounted on the common frame. The centering units contains the screw shaft with the left and right threads for synchronous movement of the support plates relative to the rolling axis to vary the throughput gauge, and the output centering unit is the safety mechanism for urgently increase of the throughput gauge in the event of the technological malfunction and the rolled product end face shape and size failure.
EFFECT: reduction of the roller bending, increase of its retention accuracy on the mill axis, protection of the equipment from the consequences of the rolled product end face shape and size failure during the rolling process and the ability to pass the mill entire range of sizes without using the auxiliary tool.
