FIELD: mechanical working. SUBSTANCE: heated billet is split deformed first with helical rolling in a cup-shaped rolls with eccentricity and then with longitudinal rolling. Split deformation proportion of longitudinal and helical rolling does not exceed 4. Drawing partial coefficients vary within 0,35-1,0 limits. Mill has heating devices, primary stand for helical rolling, additional group of two stands with cup-shaped rolls for parallel helical rolling. Rolls are mounted with eccentricity. Besides mill has a group of finishing stands for longitudinal rolling successively joint with transporting devices. Method makes it possible to increase output of rolled stock and improve properties of light-gage rolled stock of alloy metals and alloys, broaden mill assortment, enhance its processing maneuverability, reduce energy and metal usage.
