FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: calibration method is based on the use of two or more additional devices of the same type with a calibrated device. In this case, all devices are equal. As an indicator of the accuracy of each device, the standard deviation (SD) of its random component of error is taken. It is assumed that this component of error exceeds the other components of the error. When implementing the proposed method, the discrete readings of the calibrated device are compared with the readings of additional devices, and the value of the accuracy factor for each device is evaluated and the variances of the obtained values are calculated. In this case, the accuracy of each device has the property of unbiasedness.
EFFECT: increased application area, improved calibration accuracy.
