FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: surgical instrument contains a head for use on the patient, a supply line, instrument's pin connector, pin connectors of fluid and a drainage hole. The supple line includes lines for a gaseous, liquid or supercritical fluid and a sheath. Fluid lines pass through the sheath interior, one of which conveys the fluid to the head, and the other one drains the fluid from the head. The instrument pin connector has a face and the inner space completely filled with a foundry compound. The fluid pin connectros are fluidly connected to the fluid lines and are located on the face. The pressure relief drainage hole is connected via a drain hose or pipe to the sheath interior to release any emerging fluid leakage, whereby the interior is connected to the atmosphere. The drainage hole is located on the face of the instrument pin connector. The foundry compound surrounds the fluid lines and the drain hose.
EFFECT: simplified design and cleaning of the tool.
