FIELD: ventilation.
SUBSTANCE: axial fan has a motor (1) on which the impeller (24) is fixed on the rotor side, from which the fan blades (24) with the front and rear edges (26, 27) extend from the hub (hub). The motor (1) is fixed to the body (3) with a suspension (2). The suspension has a strut element (4-8) of planar material that connects the motor (1) to the body (3) and is positioned approximately in the "on the rib" direction in the direction of the air flow. In order to produce an axial fan in such a way that it has a high overall efficiency, as well as only a slight resistance to flow, the strut element (4-8) is provided with at least one notch (7) on its length part. Through the cut-out pressure flow resistance element fairing, minimize. Cut-out reduces the weight of the axial fan.
EFFECT: axial fans have strongly reduced noise level, since the magnitude of the vortex flow detachment zones dramatically reduced thanks to the cutouts.
