AXIAL-FLOW FAN GUIDE-VANE ASSEMBLY Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2101576 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering; fans and ventilators. SUBSTANCE: guide-vane assembly of axial-flow fan has shell 2 of guide vanes arranged in direction of air flow and installed at definite distance between vanes. Alternating guide vanes are displaced axially relative to other guide vanes so that alternating guide vanes are arranged at first axial distance from fan, and all other vanes, at second axial distance from fan. Part of end portion of alternating vanes pointed to fan is cut off so that front edge of alternating guide vane is at first distance from fan, and the rest part of guide vane is at second axial distance, guide vanes being non-uniformly distributed over periphery of shell. Optimum geometric relationship of guide vane assembly is given in description of invention. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 7 cl, 8 dwg
