FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of assembling a rolling bearing that contains concentrically arranged rings with raceways formed on them, between which rolling elements are placed without regard to their different size so that each of the rolling elements contacting the contacting surface with one of the raceways contacts two adjacent rolling elements, rolling elements contacting the same raceway, do not contact each other, and the diameter of the last rolling element is determined by means of a conical tared countercracker, placed to the gap between the installed rolling elements to the stop, the corresponding division of which indicates the value of the total effective total clearance, including the diameter of the last rolling element and the total value of the minimum oil layer between the contacting pairs of the rolling bodies on the length occupied by the rolling bodies between the outer and inner rings.
EFFECT: simplification of the method of assembly of the rolling bearing, increasing the accuracy of the assembly of the bearing and its working capacity.
