FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: charge is proposed for the metallurgical coke production. The charge contains, wt %: petroleum coke 30.0-1.0; oil residues 30.0-1.0; a mixture of coals of 40.0-98.0. The oil residues used are characterised by ash content of Ad not more than 2.5%, the yield of volatile substances of Vdaf not more than 90%, sulfur content of Sd not more than 5%, Roga index (IR) no less than 10. Petroleum coke is characterised by ash content of Ad not more than 2.5%, the yield of volatile substances of Vdaf not more than 25%, sulfur content of Sd not more than 5%.
EFFECT: expanding the functionality of the charge for coking by removing restrictions on the type of coal used in the charge.
