FLEXIBLE LOCKING AND SEALING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC E05B39/02

Abstract RU 2627437 C2

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises a housing 1 with the upper 2 and the lower 3 covers and a length of a rope 4 with the passive 4.1 and the free 4.2 ends. The latter is passed through the inlet 6 and the outlet 7 openings of the housing 1 and the passageway 8 to form a loop and is fixed therein when closing by means of a locking mechanism 9 spring-loaded by a closing spring 9.1. But since there are technological gaps between the length of the rope 4 and the outlet opening 7, the introduction of any tool into the housing from the outlet opening side is not excluded. To exclude this effect on the locking mechanism, a metal figured plate 11 serves according to the invention , one end 11.1 of which is clamped between the housing and the bottom cover, and the other end 11.2 is made free and bent at an angle, located above the closing spring and extending into the area of the passageway 8. Wherein the spring is located in the seat socket together with the plate 11. When any tool is inserted into the housing through the outlet opening 7 and then pushed further, it will, first of all, interact with the bent free end 11.2 and overcome the force of its springing property, will slide along it, i. e. this section pulls the tool up. And with its further advancement, this tool will either abut a roller, or sink into an annular groove on the roller and will be clamped between the roller and the cable, but it will not be able to act on the closing spring, and therefore, on the locking mechanism.

EFFECT: increasing the degree of protecting a locking and sealing device against its unauthorised opening.
