FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: sound-absorbing structure includes rigid solid and perforated walls, between which a two-layer combined sound-absorbing element is located. Between the sound-absorbing layer and a layer of sound-reflecting material of complex profile adjacent to it, an element of resonant type is located. The latter is made in the form of rigid resonance plate with resonant holes that perform functions of Helmholtz resonators neck. At that the functions of Helmholtz resonator volumes are performed by a layer of sound reflecting material with complex profile consisting of uniformly distributed hollow tetrahedrons allowing to reflect acoustic waves falling in all directions.
EFFECT: improved noise suppression and structure reliability as a whole.
