SUBSTANCE: mechanical counting device is proposed to be installed in the downhole tool and comprises a tubular housing with a channel, the first set of projections on the tubular housing shifted radially relative to the channel of the tubular housing between the projected and radially retracted positions, the second set of projections on the tubular housing shifted radially relative to the channel of the tubular housing between the projected and radially retracted positions. The tubular housing is made with possibility to advance linearly over the tool in accordance with the object shifted on the tubular housing and consistently interacting with the first and second sets of projections. Versions of the downhole tool with this counting device are also provided and methods of operating it.
EFFECT: downhole tool may be put in operation selectively.
