FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: combing device for harvesting grain crops includes two combing drums made in the form of diametrical fans with blades and combs and a vortex chamber. The combs are in the form of a logarithmic spiral with the concavity in the direction of the curvature of the blades. The rotary casing with the vortex chamber is installed on the axis of the second combing drum located below the axis of the first combing drum at the distance equal to 1/3 of the radius of the combing drum.
EFFECT: due to the creation of a reinforced airflow by the diametrical fans, the harvesting quality is improved and losses are reduced.
