FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: ring propeller (12) for the thruster (10) contains the ring nozzle (15), the central element (16) and at least one propeller blade (18). The blade extends between the central element (16) and the ring nozzle (18) and is attached to the central element and the ring nozzle, respectively. The rear edge profile (19) of at least one propeller blade (18) has the S-shaped cross section perpendicular to the axis A of the mentioned ring propeller (12) rotation. The tangent to the front edge profile at the fixation point to the female ring nozzle of the mentioned propeller and the tangent to the female ring nozzle at the same fixation point form the angle greater than 0° and less than 90°. The thruster (10) contains the ring propeller (12) and the motor with the permanent magnets. The ring propeller (12) and the thrust body (13) contain the stator winding of the permanent magnet motor. The ring propeller (12) in the thruster (10) at the ship is driven by the permanent magnet motor.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the thruster and its improved controllability when cavitation occurs.
