FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: ship type reversible turbine plant includes a power unit installed in the body with oppositely rotating rotors, which shafts are connected to the coaxially located input shafts of the planetary differential mechanism. The differential mechanism contains a solar wheel, an epicycle, a carrier, a block of satellites, each of which is made in the form of basic gear wheel, a gear transmission and braking devices. The power unit is made in the form of a multi-stage birotate turbine consisting of an outer rotor, which shaft is connected with external shaft, and an internal rotor. The block of satellites is equipped with additional gear wheels according to the number of main gears, each of which is rigidly connected to the corresponding main gear and is engaged with the epicycle. The plant is provided with an end seal with a drive for its movement, which is mounted on the body of the power unit in front of the outer rotor of the birotate turbine, with the possibility of shutting off gas leaks through the gap between the body and the outer rotor.
EFFECT: increasing the plant efficiency and improving the coordination of the turbine and propeller operation mode.
