FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: compound with a blocking vitreous surface layer and a dense diffusion near-surface layer includes magnesite caustic powder (PMC), magnesium chloride solution, catalytic carbonaceous additive and waste or fillers for building compounds. In the solution of magnesium chloride for an amount of 200 to 400 g/l, a solution of iron sulfate with the density of 1.08-1.10 g/cm3 in the amount of 0.1-0.4 of the weight of the resulting magnesium chloride solution, 10-20% solution of copper sulfate with the density of 1.08-1.10 g/cm3 in the amount of 0.04-0.13 of the weight of the magnesium chloride solution produced, the magnesite caustic powder and the catalytic carbon-containing additive.

EFFECT: it is allowed to obtain a vitreous surface layer, which excludes the ingress of radionuclides and toxins into the environment.
