FIELD: weaponry and ammunition supplies.
SUBSTANCE: remote-controlled weapon station contains a rotary support device (RS) installed on the roof of a vehicle, a computer, a control panel, the second Ethernet media converter, a power distribution unit, and a power source located inside the vehicle. The RS contains a rotating contact device (RCD) with optical and electrical transitions, a sighting system, a weather condition sensor unit, the first Ethernet media converter, a coupling unit, a replaceable device-lodgement, automatic weapon with an auto-start, a system of launchers, a fire rate and machine-gun length shaper, a stabilization system with a control unit, traverse and elevation drives, power amplifier, angular velocity sensor, manual mode switching device, connected in a certain manner. The control panel contains a base, two ergonomic joystick handles, a proportional manipulator (beep) on the right handle, toggle switchers and control buttons.
EFFECT: stabilization of laying drives, ability to count the amount of ammunition consumed, ability to switch to manual mode.
