FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: coil for storing and dispensing the binding material contains a hub and side walls located on its axial front ends. The side walls are protruded in the radial direction beyond the outer peripheral surface of the hub. Storage space formed by the surfaces of the side walls facing each other and the outer peripheral surface of the hub and enveloping it serves to accommodate the binding material. The hub is made double-walled in places. The coil is formed by two halves. Both halves are identical.
EFFECT: reduced number of moulds required for the production of a coil, increased stability of coils, reduced risk of damage.
