SUBSTANCE: method of initialization of a computer system with a plurality of central processing units (CPU), comprising stages at which at least two CPU are initiated from a plurality of CPU upon starting the initialization process, access to the table is obtained by each of identified at least two initialized CPU the task description (TDC) stored in the computer system, the TDC include information on at least two tasks of the initialization process, wherein when the first CPU from the initialized CPU accesses the TDC, the first CPU is configured to lock the TDC, while the locked TDC is not available to the CPU which differ from the first CPU, at least two tasks from each of the at least two initialized CPU are selected according to the selection information of identified at least two tasks in the TDC, by each of the at least two initialized CPU the selected task is obtained according to the address information of the selected task in the TDC and the selected tasks are executed at least partially in parallel with the help of each of the identified initialized CPU.
EFFECT: reduces the initialization time of a computer system with multiple central processors.
